My townlet

    I came back to my hometown last Saturday for my winter wears. Since my family rarely stays in Wenzhou during the whole year, our time spent at home is fairly limited. And in this case, I treasure it a lot every time when I am back.

    Getting up early on Saturday morning, I felt it a little cold outside. Taking a deep breath, fresh and moist air rendered me blissfully happy. The thought of going home alone arouse in my mind the moment I realized that winter was around the corner. Without hesitation, I took my bag and set out immediately for Wenzhou South Station. I took the latest train and arrived about twenty minutes later.

    Rambling on the country road, its beauty in simplicity eased me thoroughly from within. Mountains and houses were reflected on the river surface, as pastel as a gouache. Along the river bank there sit my gracious grandma, who's so surprised and glad to see me. She had been there in the little town for her whole life, taking care of her family. She's always very good to me and even spoiled me in my childhood memory. She's getting older year by year with my growing up. Seeing her hoaruheaded figure leaning against the door and felt her eyes following me when I left, my tears burst out.

    Both the scenery and people there in my beloved townlet made me really unwilling to leave. It's a place contained precious treasures for me.
